I guess it's time for an update since I had about 300 pictures in my camera. Don't worry, I didn't post all of them.

Heres the highlights!

Preschool Graduation May 2008

Colin graduated preschool! How time flies. We started our graduation festivities with a preschool picnic in the park with all of our friends and teachers.

Colin and Abbie have been great
friends all year since Colin first
hit on her at circle time!

And Harley and Brent - the boys
love to be boys and rough it up on the
playground together.

The wonderful Miss Lori (even if she is a Packer fan!) who truly sees the beauty and wonder in each child and is always full of fun!

And the amazing Miss Sarah - who is grace under pressure with the superhuman ability to know what 20 kids are doing all at once!

Colin requested raspberry cheesecake for
his special graduation dinner, which he did a
great job decorating.

I went back into the archives for this one-

The first day of preschool (2 years ago) and the last day of preschool!
We couldn't be more proud of our little graduate!
It was a beautiful ceremony with all of the children singing songs and recieving their diplomas. We will sure miss our preschool -
it was such a great experience and we made so many nice friends there. But we are looking forward to summer fun and soon it will be "Hello Kindergarten!"

Florida April 2008

We were all in Florida in April for some sun
and fun! We had a late dinner at our favorite
restaurant on the beach- Sharkeys.
The kids were quite exhausted from
swimming all day.

But they were all ready to go again at the pool the next day! Don't the boys look super
cool with their pirate bandanas on!

Colin really loves being with his cousins.
Even if its just hanging out at the condo.

We made the most of the day when it was too cool for swimming by going to
the Tampa Childrens Museum. Here they had a real airplane cockpit. And some other cool stuff
that kept us all entertained.

Here's a cute one of Jack and Em!

Colin and Jack tried their hand at tennis.

And Colin recently started riding two wheels!
But he also had fun riding side saddle with Grandpa

Of course we spent time at the beach as well. The
water was a little chilly for swimming, but that
didn't deter the kids!

Goodbye Florida. See you again - when
airfares come down!

Easter 2008

Easter is here! Time to color eggs

Don't those eggs look great!

The Easter Bunny came with a big basket of goodies.

He brought Colin lots of books and candy.
And of course a Wayne Gretzky tape!

There were eggs hidden all over the house. I was afraid we
would be finding them for days on end- but Colin found
them all right away.

We hope you all had a great Easter too!

Our Buddy Rusty

Here's our little friend Rusty. Rusty is Aunt Diane and
Uncle Dave's dog. We got to dogsit Rusty when they
were on vacation in March. Rusty is 9 months old so we figured
that makes him about 5 in people years - just like
Colin. It's like having two kids in the house! They
play and run around together all day long!

They liked playing in the snow together. And Rusty loved watching Colin and Dad play Ants in the Pants!

Rusty loves kissing and tickling.

And much to my relief -there were also some rare moments of calm.

At least one of them is sleeping!
Come back soon Rusty -temporarily.

Christmas 2007

We began Christmas eve morning
by opening a few gifts from our
cousins! (just couldn't wait any longer)

And Mom and Colin got Daddy a cappaccino maker

Santa arrived right on schedule and left many presents.
We wondered how he fit down the chimney with all of those big gifts!

He must have been REALLY hungry
because he ate all of the milk and cookies.
Then he left Colin all of his favorite candies
in his stocking!

Time to open presents!
"Hmmmmm. I wonder what this one is!"

Oh a hockey book and lots of hockey gear!
Now how did Santa know I love hockey?!

And a baseball game too!

Colin's prized possession- a real Blackhawk jersey
from Mom and Dad. Grandma and Grandpa
got him the helmet and Santa brought the other
hockey gear.

After opening presents we all played some
hockey and baseball of course!

After dinner we opened more gifts

Dad got a frothing pitcher for his cappaccino maker

Grandma got some nightgowns

Nani got a bath and shower set

and Paca got some books!
